Emm..kite kena makan banyak vegetables & fruits.Yela sayur and buah2 tu kan important Giler untuk kesihatan kita kan..betul tak? Betul le tu kan?? :) Hi3..
Emm...Not sure how to add more vegetables and fruits to your diet? Here are some simple tips :
  1. If you enjoy cereals for breakfast,add fruits like strawberries,pomelos,mangoes and bananas as a topping.
  2. Have a small salad with at least one of your meals.
  3. If you need a tea-time snack,make a sandwich with a vegetable filling such as tomatoes,lettuce or cucumber.
  4. Can't do without meat? Add chicken or seafood to that vegetable dish.
  5. Include fruits in your dessert.

NEW VEGETABLES TO TRY OUT!!

While you are in 'green meal' mode,try asparagus and sweet potatoes.

ASPARAGUS. Low in fat and high in fibre,asparagus is also rich in vitamins A,C and K and potassium. It also contains folic acid,which is crucial for a healthy cardiovascular system as well as preventing birth defects. if you are pregnant.

SWEET POTATO. A good source of vitamins A and C,sweet potatoes are also rich in antioxidants.

FOLIC ACID 
A POSSIBLE TREATMENT FOR ALLERGIES

A study conducted at johns hopkins children's center has found that folic acid supplementation not only prevents spinal defects in newborns,but also reduces the severity of allergic reactions.After studying the medical records of more than 8,000 individuals,researchers discovered that people with higher levels of folic acid in the blood had a lower risk of asthma and allergies.However,investigators cautioned that more research needs to be done before folic acid can be established as a treatment for or prevention of allergies.
