  • Within 24 hours, the risk of a sudden heart attack decreases.

The world bank calculates that children who take up smoking range from 14,000 - 15,000 per day in high - income countries and 68,000 to 84,000 in middle - and low - income countries. ''This means that every day, worldwide, there are between 82,000 and 99,000 young people starting to smoke and risking rapid addiction to nicotine.
